Newsies

I just found this movie very recently- not even a year ago- and fell in love with it immediately.

This was Disney in it's prime. This film is what a real film is supposed to be and not the crap Disney comes out with today like Hannah Montana and other shameful stuff. The Newsies was informative in the most entertaining way.

As a spectator, you immediately fall in love with each of the news boys as they all have such developed characters (not to mention good looks) and humour.

Newsies takes place in 1899, recounting the event of the newsboys' strike in New York City. Jack Kelly and thousands of other newsies work for Joseph Pulitzer by selling his paper. But pretty soon, Pulizter jacks up the price for the paper that the newsies have to pay for in order to sell. This angers the newsies and they lash back.

An amazing musical and unforgettable story, Newsies has got to be one of my top movies. All I ask is that Disney goes back to making great movies such as this one.
