Hounddog (2007)

"A drama set in the American South, where a precocious, troubled girl finds a safe haven in the music and movement of Elvis Presley." - imdb.com

Hounddog is a very original and low-key movie. I loved this movie- it really felt...well I don't know how to explain it, but it felt very authentic, for lack of a better word. Dakota Fanning was a great actress, although I was a tad surprised at some of the content since it isn't for children and she was a child at that time. But all in all, it was a great movie. I was very excited to see how it revolved mostly around Elvis Presley since I love him and his music as well. It was a soulful movie and the perfect prescription to a relaxing Sunday evening.
