This movie isn't a stupid movie...quite the opposite really, but the thing is that the brilliance of the movie is only found within the cheesy, original and somewhat stupid humour of the story.
Monty Python and The Holy Grail had me laughing to no end. I find that it was quite creative to have a movie with individual stories that somehow all tie in. This is a timeless movie that I can definitely watch over and over again without getting bored. The jokes are great! My favorite scene? All of them...but to be more specific I would have to say that I love the scene with the black knight:
Best scene ever...can't stop laughing... My second favorite scene is where a woman is accused of being a witch- hilarity ensues as the townspeople try to figure out what constitutes being a witch.
There were small animations in this movie which I thought were quite clever as they made very good and hilarious transitions to each new story. Watching Monty Python really puts you in a good mood. The characters, though not complex (or smart), are lovable and you can feel an immediate connection with each. The cinematography was quite good, but there was some cheesy aspects to it which just added to the funniness.
This is a movie I would have to say that everyone should watch at least once before you die. Go add this to your bucket list! At least it's an enjoyable thing to do :)
