Ballet Shoes

Honestly, I only watched this movie because I heard that Emma Watson was in it...my guilty confession...

Ballet Shoes is a very sweet movie, kind of like Anne of Green Gables or Little Women . It has a subtle amount of romance in it, but focuses mainly on the relationship between three orphan girls who are "sisters" to one another. They face difficulty in the face of almost-poverty and each pursues their dream. Pauline Fossil, the eldest girl played by none other than Emma Watson, dreams of becoming an actress and does indeed become a very famous one, ending up with a five year contract in Hollywood. Next comes Petrova who dreams of becoming a world-famous woman aviator. She does. Finally comes Posy, a girl with dreams of becoming the best ballerina there is. Each girl follows her dream, determined to make it come true in the topsy turvy world they live in.

Though not the best movie to ever be produced, Ballet Shoes was a very cute and enjoyable film; it was relaxing and one of those films that you just want to watch while snuggling in a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate next to a crackling fireplace on a snowy day.
