The Other Boleyn Girl

Passion...passion and well- more passion.

This movie is just filled with passion (if you didn't catch that already). I adore the history of Anne Boleyn and King Henry VIII as well as little Elizabeth. I feel as if this movie did an okay job relaying the story, but it had great entertainment value. The aura was very elegant yet dark, as the story is.

King Henry VIII has a wife who is unable to conceive a male heir. He is seduced by one of his wife's maids, Anne Boleyn, and pursues her, determined to make her his. But Anne will not go willingly unless she gets something in return. She thirsts for power, and being loved by a handsome man is just an added bonus.

I do not have much to say about this movie except that I think it was made well. I wish it were a little different but beggars can't be choosers (or complainers)! Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson were great and acted phenomenally. All in all, it was worth watching, definitely not a chick flick.
