Pride and Prejudice

 

Pride and Prejudice is not a chick flick...

Elizabeth Bennet is a young woman who lives with her mother, father and four other sisters. Her mother is desperate to have all her daughters married, as she says that that is the only joy in a mother's life. But Elizabeth is an indepentdent woman who doesn't need a man...or so she thinks. That is until she meets the dark and handsome Mr. Darcy. At first, she despises him and vice versa, but soon she begins to warm up to him until her prejudice disappears and his pride vanishes and they get married and love each other. So sweet.

This is definitely one of my favorite films (on my top 10 or 20 list). I loved the cinematography and the setting. The cast was brilliantly put together as well; Keira Knightley makes a magnificent Elizabeth Bennet! Also, they casted the right person for Mr. Darcy- a quiet yet haughty and handsome man who finally declares his love for Elizabeth... *swoon*.
